Superheroes of Leeds

Discover 235 drawings and testimonies celebrating Leeds' amazing teachers, councillors, parents, bin men and delivery drivers, plus Marcelo Bielsa, Captain Sparkle Butt and many other worthy heroes.

In March 2021, The Tetley issued a call for heroes: people who deserve to be thanked for the support they give and the difference they make each day. We received nominations from visitors, groups in our community and local primary schools.

Nominated by friends, colleagues and loved ones, these heroes make our city better, one day at a time.

In this exhibition, The Tetley pays tribute to them and showcases the artistic talents of our local community.
